Operatoin Theater Assistant (O.T.A) are a fundamental part of the operation unit working with surgeons, anesthetists and theatre nurses to ensure that every single procedure is as safe and successful as probable. The successful outcome of surgical process relies not only on the expertise of attending doctors and nurses but also on technical capacity, level-headedness and alertness of OTA. They work in Operation Theatre of hospitals, Emergency Departments and Intensive Care Units (ICU).
PPI in addition to core clinical skills and a sound knowledge of specialist equipment and drugs provides the students with the ability to reassure and support patients emotionally through the stressful experience of surgery. OTA is always in high demand in the field of Medical.
Eligibility: 10+2 or I.sc with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.
Duration of Course: 2 Years
Age: Minimum 17 Years and Maximum 30 Years.
