ECG Technician

ECG Technician

The ECG is the most commonly performed cardiac test. This is because the ECG is a useful screening tool for a variety of cardiac abnormalities; ECG machines are readily available in most medical facilities; and the test is simple to perform, risk-free and inexpensive.

An ECG technician, also called as cardio graphic technician, uses electrocardiogram machines to run diagnostic tests to measure a patient’s heart rate, monitor cardiac rhythm and help physicians find irregularities in the heart and blood vessels.
